Entry Fee $85 per golfer, $340 per team.

All golfers must wear collared shirts.

On Saturday, September 8, 2018 the HERO 101 FUND will hold the 13th Annual Jeremy Chambers Memorial Golf Tournament. The tournament is held annually in honor of Patrolman Jeremy Chambers who lost his life on April 24, 2006 when he was struck head on by a drunk driver while serving the citizens of the Village of Cahokia. Jeremy was the first Cahokia Police Officer to be killed in the line of duty.

As in years past, proceeds from the tournament will be placed into the HERO 101 FUND which was started in Jeremy’s honor. The Fund has made donations to First Responders in Madison, St. Clair, and Monroe Counties in Illinois and St. Louis City and County in Missouri. The HERO 101 Fund also makes donations to the Jeremy Chambers Scholarship Fund at SWIC. We now can make donations to police, fire departments and ambulance services in the form of equipment. The donations are made when and officer, firefighter or EMS worker is hurt or killed in the line of duty.

As a member of the Cahokia Volunteer Fire Department, Jeremy, along with several others, went to New York to assist in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks. This was typical of Jeremy, giving of himself to assist others. We are asking you to help make this day a very special and successful day in honor of Jeremy and all of those that lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
